will i ever tire of a view such as this? the colors so are bright, so bold, so good it makes me gasp.
the end of another wednesday – the day of the week that nudges me to begin dreaming about the weekend and all my plans. it never comes quick enough, and once it arrives it leaves too fast.

but someone didn’t stick to the plan and i’m more than okay with that.

i still think it is a crazy story. one week after saying “yes, I will” andreas and i tied the knot.
legally that is.
in front of a judge – who wore his robe.
i remember nervously laughing – a lot.
but with a handsome boy by my side it was the right thing to do.
we celebrated with cheesecake that night.
so we will celebrate tomorrow as well.

tonight i’m dining solo.
before meeting andreas my meals were simple, tasty and impromptu. i miss the days when a bowl of oatmeal or a can of green beans could be considered dinner. since andreas has a standing date with some computer dudes to play some computer games, wednesday’s dinner are slowly becoming a fend for yourself affair. perhaps the days of crispy bacon and mozzarella salads are back…if only for a short while.

we are still working hard. but is a good work, you know?
the past few weekend our days have been consumed with weeds, seeds and making several trips to the garden center, during which i realized something – i am lucky. it is not my garden, but ours. we both enjoy working outside. we talk about our someday stone patio and future blueberries bushes. i watched my grandparents garden together and i assumed that spouse=gardening=perfect. slowly i am realizing some of my expectations about marriage a little off. but i am lucky because this one is not. and that means a lot. so thanks, A.
the middle of the week

today i was in need of a change. i love routines but every so often i itch for some new and different.
so today after dinner, we went to the nelson art museum.
we walked around hand in hand.
that is all i needed.
